GEOSYS is a leading provider of geotechnical and slope protection solutions in northern Thailand. They focus on eco-friendly soil retention, hillside stabilization, and infrastructure reinforcement, particularly in mountainous and high-rainfall zones.
The client was responsible for a highway slope protection project near Chiang Mai, which required a sustainable, green engineering solution. The goal was to prevent erosion while supporting native vegetation growth along steep road embankments.
Challenges:
Complex terrain, limited working space, and heavy rainfall called for durable, flexible materials that could be deployed quickly and support ecological restoration.
Requirements:
Strong, corrosion-resistant gabion mesh that could retain soil while allowing plant root penetration. GEOSYS also needed automated mesh production equipment to manage costs and delivery timelines efficiently.
Gabion Mesh Equipment Delivery:
We provided a fully automated production line featuring wire feeding, cutting, weaving, and rolling—supporting variable mesh sizes and wire gauges, adapted to Thailand’s 380V power system.
Eco-Compatible Design Support:
We recommended open-structured double-twisted mesh cages to allow sediment capture and root integration, in alignment with GEOSYS’s green engineering goals.
Technical Customization:
Our teams worked closely to finalize mesh specs, wire types, and a trilingual interface (Thai, English, Chinese). The equipment was successfully installed at their processing site under remote guidance.
Training & Support:
Comprehensive training materials, video tutorials, and a dedicated support channel were provided to ensure smooth operation and efficient long-term use.
Outcomes:
GEOSYS achieved localized, rapid production of gabion mesh for multiple slope projects. Vegetation restoration was effective, and the project was awarded a regional green engineering prize.
Client Feedback:
“The machine performs flawlessly with excellent mesh accuracy. It has significantly improved our efficiency and execution in eco-slope projects.”
— Technical Director, GEOSYS CO., LTD
Encouraged by the success, GEOSYS plans to expand with a second production site in southern Thailand and explore PVC-coated mesh lines for flood-prone mountain zones. We will continue to support their expansion across Thailand and the ASEAN region.
